What is an Apostille
An apostille is a form of authentication issued by a designated government agency that verifies the origin of a public document.
It certifies the authenticity of the signature on the document, the capacity in which the person person signing the document acted; and the identity of any stamp or seal attached to the document. It’s required for use in countries that are members of the Hague Apostille Convention. Whether you’re moving abroad, getting married overseas, or conducting international business, an apostille ensures your U.S.-issued documents are recognized abroad—legally and securely.
